Back by popular demand...the one, the only, the Rubber Chicken Ride!!  The New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (NMOHVA) is hosting the 2nd Annual Rubber Chicken Ride dual sport motorcycle event in beautiful Truth of Consequences, New Mexico on October 18-20.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will feature a variety of dual sport riding opportunities through the mountains and deserts of New Mexico including the historic Palomas Gap, beautiful Chloride Canyon, the stunning Monticello Box and others.

All riding is strictly "no fee" and at the event participant's discretion. Maps of suggested routes will be provided and we anticipate plenty of people who would be willing to let others follow them as they explore the beautiful and varied scenery around Truth or Consequences.

This ride will also be the David Garret Memorial Ride as we honor the memory of our departed friend and rider.

All road riding requires a legal, plated bike.

Registration for this event includes $15 in "La Cocina Bucks" for use at the Saturday night dinner fiesta and awards party.  These "bucks" can be used for anything on the La Cocina menu except alcoholic beverages.  The event registration also includes an event T-shirt, sticker, and a chance at raffle prizes.

This is a fund-raising event.  All funds above event costs will go directly to NMOHVA's Access Defense Fund.  The Access Defense Fund is used to protect and preserve motorized recreation and access in New Mexico.

Check out NMOHVA and what we are doing to preserve and protect motorized recreation at www.nmohva.org.
