NMOHVA is hosting the 3rd annual Sipapu Shindig on June 26th through June 28th (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).  The event will be based at the beautiful Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort located just east of Penasco, NM.  All three days will feature a variety of dual sport, single-track, and road riding opportunities through the mountains of northern New Mexico. All riding is strictly "no fee" and at the event participant's discretion. Maps of suggested routes will be provided and we anticipate plenty of people who would be willing to let others follow them as they explore the beautiful and varied scenery around Sipapu, Taos, Angel Fire and surrounding areas.

All road riding requires a legal, plated bike.  Trail system riding requires a valid NM OHV sticker or sticker from a reciprical state.

Registration for this event includes a dinner Saturday night, an event T-shirt, an event sticker, and a chance at raffle prizes.

All accommodations are the responsibility of the riders. Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort has a variety of lodging and camping spaces available but accommodations are limited so don't delay.   Contact them directly at  800-587-2240.  Sipapu Resort is holding a block of rooms and campsites for the event until May 15th (ask for the NMOHVA event) but this block will fill fast. Other lodging options are available nearby at Taos and Angel Fire.  Other camping/RV options are available on the surrounding Carson National Forest.

Additional meal tickets are available for those who only wish to join us for the Saturday evening dinner.

This is a fund-raising event.  All funds above event costs will go directly to NMOHVA's Access Defense Fund.  The Access Defense Fund is used to protect and preserve motorized recreation and access in New Mexico.

The deadline for registration is 10:00 am on June 17th to allow us to accommodate T-shirt and meal orders.  This event will be limited to the first 60 registrations so don't delay!
